I need to tweek some textures, add some details... But it's starting to come together nicely! Textures are photos from my kitchen and I created bump and specular maps of them, too. I have a couple textures still to get (wood grain for the cupboards, mainly, since the built in wood grain isn't the best.)
Tomorrow's plan: Finish off texturing, model doors and windows, photos of vestibule, living room, outhouse and outside, for use behind the windows and doors.

3D Modelling - Interior WIP
It's a work in progress, but it's getting there. Shadows are beginning to take shape better (just need to sort a little bit lighting out), and it's getting closer to modelling more of the room. I still have some pieces to work on, like a kettle, the toaster and the cat's bed. But it's all coming together nicely! Once I have it textured, it will look much better. The floor is going to be carpeted instead of the reflected wood flooring. Curtains will be added... Blah blah blah.
Room Modelling needed still:
3 doors with windows (which will have lighting effects upon them)
Outside images (One for the garden, through the window. Living room image, vestibule image, outhouse image. These are all for behind the doors.)
Room areas leading to outhouse and vestibule (probably the easiest modelling to do)
Assets and features needed still:
Cupboard on wall above coffee pots (above image)
Cupboard with cutting board
Oven
Toaster
Kettle
Counter (with cat bed beneath)
Cat bowls
Litter tray (Cat bowls and tray are an afterthought. The cat bed is an interesting shape to model)
Pantry door (a solid door with handle)
*EDIT* Also, curtains using the Cloth constraint

Walkway Completed
The walkway I was making is complete. Using Rust Effect, hairspray and a stiff bristled brush, I made the paint look worn and the rust as though it's bubbling through paintwork. The black patches are Magnetic strips.

Miniature development.
Terrain pieces, which will be used (not only for tabletop wargaming) as part of Matte Painting and compositing.
Based from the Necromunda terrain pieces from the 90s, I am making them from Foamcore. Basing in black, then a base layer coat in grey, detail can be added with Plasticard and other pieces (straws for pipes, piping for vent tubes, cables for... cables...)
Once ready, they will be shot on Green Screen, then keyed out (like how I will be making the Ember Shrine in the film)
Showing scale for 28mm models. The car repair mesh used on the walkway supports the model well. It is sandwiched between a layer of Foamcore and Plasticard.
